SAVE THE DATE! In conjunction with the Harbour Dash we are also stoked to announce that we will be hosting an Armstrong Foils DEMO DAY on the 1st and 2nd of June 2024!

What can you expect? Well! We are so excited to reveal all the way from New Zealand Armstrong Rider Aidan Nicholas will be joining us at the DEMO DAY! (Pictured below). Wow!

If that wasn’t enough! We will also be offering Clinics, Down Wind Paddling and Winging!

We invite you to join in our charity fundraiser The epic Harbour Dash and then join us for our Armstrong Open Day!

There are so many opportunites for you to grow, learn and improve your skills at The Official Test Centre (OTC). We have the best instructors, the best location and the best facilities! What's not to like! Step on board with us, you will not look back!

In this weeks blog I take a look at what RYA courses are on offer in the summer months and what clubs you can get involved with at The OTC.

The RYA's training courses and qualifications are recognised and respected all over the world. Here at The OTC we are one of the 2,400 recognised training centres. Whilst meeting the high standards set by the Royal Yachting Association, our courses are safe, fun, exciting and the ideal way to learn and progress in your watersports instructor journey.

We also run a number of organised OTC club nights if you are looking for a great way to meet like minded watersports enthusiasts and improve your technique come and take the plunge with us! Become part of our community! Get on the right course with The Official Test Centre!

SAVE THE DATE! The Official Test Centre (OTC) is thrilled to announce that the legendary Portland Harbour Dash will be happening again this year!

Keep the weekend of the 1st or 2nd of June 2024 (weather dependent) FREE! The event will be raising funds for Will Houghton Foundation (WHF). The dash is open to windsurfers, wind foilers and wing foilers.

The Dash begins with a Le Mans-style start at Overcome beach with competitors racing across Weymouth bay into the North shipping channel of Portland Harbour, out of the East channel and back to Overcombe beach.

There is a suggested entry donation of £25.00, with all proceeds going to WHF. To enter contact The Official Test Centre (OTC) on 07817 717904.

The WHF provides funds to UK charities that help 14-24-year-olds reach their potential through sport and education. It has been supporting the Portland-based Will Mackaness Trust for the last seven years helping local children learn to swim and windsurf while building confidence and independence.

Note for those taking part.. The start/finish line will be upwind of Overcombe, closer to Weymouth, so there will be no issues with the reef.
