🛑 ANNOUNCEMENT 🛑 GREEN LIGHT FOR Portland Harbour Dash!

The great news you have all been waiting for. It is GO GO GO THIS SATURDAY the 21st September 2024 for the Harbour Dash.

The race will start at 9am on Saturday morning.

The Official Test Centre (OTC) team will be at Overcombe car park (DT3 6SX) from 8:30am on Saturday and will be there to welcome and get you registered.

Race brief will be at 8:45am and the race will start at 9am.

Who will break the current record? It could be you! Make that text today and you could change a young persons life with your donation.

The legendary Portland Harbour Dash is raising funds for the Will Houghton Foundation. The dash is open to windsurfers, wind foilers and wing foilers.

The Dash begins with a Le Mans-style start at Overcombe beach with competitors racing across Weymouth bay into the North shipping channel of Portland Harbour, out of the East channel and back to Overcombe beach.

There is a suggested entry donation of £25.00, with all proceeds going to WHF. You can pay your entry donation on the day at registration. There will be buckets for cash, and a card machine to donate by card. All donations go directly to the Will Houghton Foundation.

Note for those taking part: the start/finish line will be upwind of Overcombe, closer to Weymouth, so there will be no issues with the reef.

💥 YOUTH HALF TERM CAMPS 💥

This October half term here at The Official Test Centre (OTC) we will be running youth camps in both windsurfing and winging.

📍The OTC, Portland, DT5 1SA.
🗓️ 28th October - 1st November.
⏰ 10:00 - 16:00 each day.

Requirements:
Participants must already be windsurfing or winging. This maybe with their local club, on holidays or with school.

What’s on?
The week will be designed to have varying different levels of progression sessions running in each activity. Allowing youngsters to learn at their own pace, towards their specific goals.

⭐️£80 per day.
⭐️All equipment provided.
⭐️RYA Qualified tuition.
⭐️Video feedback.
⭐️Photo Dropbox.

Please note: Lunch is not provided, please pack your youngsters with fluids, foods/money and plenty of warm clothing.
