The Official Test Centre (OTC)

Running a centre in one of Europe's premier windsurfing locations (the Weymouth and Portland National Sailing Academy (WPNSA) - the host of the sailing and windsurfing classes for the 2012 Games) we house all the major windsurfing brands under one roof, making it the only centre in the world that consumers can test and compare the latest products on the market for themselves. As a result, The OTC is in a unique position to support every facet of the sport, from the consumers to the retailers and magazines, and even the brands themselves.

🌊 From wellbeing windsurfing to Olympic dreams… meet Reggie! 💙

At just 12 years old, Reggie is dreaming of the 2040 Olympics — and his journey has a special connection to The Official Test Centre (OTC)

Through the OTC wellbeing windsurfing programme and the Royal Yachting Association Elevate programme, Reggie has had opportunities to discover his passion and dream big. Meeting Olympic windsurfer Emma Wilson early in his journey helped inspire him to see where the sport could take him. 🙌

His story is a wonderful reminder of the difference that encouragement, opportunity and time on the water can make.

A true success story for everyone involved, with a very special thank you to Kerry Knight, who makes the magic happen. Her care, energy and dedication help make journeys like Reggie’s possible. 💙

And a very special mention to Eric whose superb tuition has got Reggie where he is today.

The Official Test Centre (OTC) is celebrating success at Weymouth Speed Week, with The OTC Pro-Rider Scotty Stallman Windsurfing claiming the overall title and OTC Team Rider Scott Norman taking first place in the Gold Fleet.

With some very close results across the event, congratulations go to all participants and winners, alongside thanks to the event crew for their work delivering another edition of Weymouth Speed Week.

Conifers Primary School’s windsurfers braved the wind and rain last week for another amazing session on the water at The Official Test Centre! 🌧️🏄

Being on the water can offer a chance to switch off from everyday pressures, enjoy the fresh air and focus on the moment. Whether you’re windsurfing, winging or simply enjoying time afloat, it’s an opportunity to move, connect with others and build confidence at your own pace. 🙌
